How to develop the industrial tourism in Palu

We know that tourism is one of sector which is give big contribution to increase national income and city income. Nowadays Tourism in Palu is good enough, but we must develop it more and more.

Tourist come to some area because a lot of things. They like to visit interest places likes a beautiful beach, a museum, etc. But in our city, the government aren’t give attention to industrial tourism in Palu. It make our tourism is not running well.

So, that’s why we should thinking how to develop our industrial tourism.

1. From Infrastructure side

The government and the society should give their attention and their help for tourism sector. The government should give dana to build the tourism places and to preserve it. Tanjung Karang is one of tourism place in Palu which is very potential. But the building isn’t taken care and the beach is not too clean. Becides that, museum in Palu which is have many history things not get attention from government. The building is not taken care and the decoration of the room is not interest and half part of the building was broken and collapse. So, it make tourist seldom visit there.

Becides from the building, the road also not get attention. There are many holes on the road. It will make people who want to use the road are not comfort and can make some trouble for their vehicle. Many food court in our city likes in Taman Ria should be arrange orderly. Because nowadays it is not arrange orderly and it isn’t make a good view and durable. So that’s why government should give their help by give dana for the treatment’s expense, to build some tourism bulding, etc.

Becides from the government, the society also must keep the environment clean by “tidak buang sampah sembarangan” and not doodling the places. They also should manage the tourism places well.

2. From Safety and Transportations

Safety is the most important thing if we want to develop our industrial tourism. Because all people will feel comfort in an area if they feel safe. If tourist not feel safe in our city, it can make they afraid to visit to our city. For example, “Bom Bali”. That incident make tourist afraid to visit there. It make the industrial tourism there decrease.

That’s why the government should increase the safety level. So, tourist can comfort to visit to our city because they feel safe.

Becides from the safety sector, transportation also important. The government should provide transportation vehicles for tourist so they can easy if they want to go to some tourism places.

The transportation vehicles must be clean and taken care. So, it can make tourist feel comfort while they in that transportation vehicles.

3. From traditional foods

Our traditional food should be promoted through electronic media, for example a kuliner programs. The government should make a traditional food’s list and then do exhibition about traditional foods. It can make tourist want to eat our foods and visit to our city because they interest to our traditional foods.. It can develop our industrial tourism, too.

4. From Traditional Arts and Cultures

Our traditional arts and cultures can be used to promote our city to others countries. Our traditional dances, ritual ceremony, etc will very interest for tourist and it can make tourist want to visit to our city. To promote our traditional arts and cultures, for example we can do a dance performance in their country. So they can remember and know that Palu has many interest arts and cultures and they interest to come to our city.
